Christians must first overcome basic struggles such as cursing, lying, sexual immorality, slander, fighting, cheating, stealing, and other carnal behaviors so that deeper and more powerful biblical principles can be taught and received.

Consecration is the process of putting away old carnal habits and patterns so that a person can be set apart and prepared for God’s use. As we grow in consecration, the goal is to move forward in greater spiritual power and effectiveness.
